Good purchase! (2008-10-12)

Very easy to use, works fine, no problems at all. I was looking for a device like that for some time. The idea to include the pen drive inside the logitech device is great, because you will not forget or take this together.Only think is the time, I wish it could be "customizable". It vibrates only when you're 5 minutes or 0, I wish I could set this for 10, 20, 30, depending on the presentation.

a well designed remote (2008-10-10)

I have used this presentation remote daily for the last two months and have found it to be dependable and convenient. I have used several different remotes, and this is by far my favorite. Key features include: forward/reverse/laser pointer buttons conveniently located on the face of the presenter (thumb activated), a button to black the presentation screen, a built-in storage bay for the remote (but it's hard to remove if inserted upside-down), and it uses AAA batteries (not more expensive and harder-to-find watch batteries). The battery life indicator is also a nice feature that other remotes lack. I do not use the timer.

performed as advertized (2008-10-09)

The presenter worked great out of the package and was very easy to install and operate. The range was spot on as I tested it out about 50 feet away. It was also very easy to explain to others how to use it, which is a necessity in a large office. The button icons are intuitive.

A huge improvement on an already-excellent product (2008-10-04)

I'm a professional speaker, and have used Logitech's original cordless presenter for years. The theft of my computer bag forced me to replace it recently, and I'm amazed that my entire "wish list" of additional features has been incorporated into this new model. The most important of those new features are a countdown timer and a battery life indicator. I only have two minor complaints: 1) the laser button is too close to the slide advance buttons (causing me to occasionally advance the slide accidentally), and 2) the device could be built more solidly: it feels cheap...like it would fall apart the first time it's dropped. Maybe they need to create an industrial-strength version for professional use.
