Amazon.com Review
Transporting foods for lunches and picnics and storing leftovers for reheating is a cinch with the Pyrex Storage Plus set. Included in this set are two 2-cup rounds, one 3 1/2-cup rectangular, one 4-cup round, and one 6-cup rectangular storage piece, all glass, with plastic covers. Pyrex glass doesn't warp, stain, or absorb odors, and can be used in the oven, microwave, oven, refrigerator, or freezer for storing, reheating and serving. The set is easy to stack, so it takes up less cabinet space when not in use. The set includes a pamphlet with safety and use instructions, and each glass piece is covered by a two-year warranty. --Rhonda Langdon

Perfect Sizes! (2008-10-13) I am gradually replacing all of my plastic storage containers with glass/pyrex containers. I got this pyrex set, to complement the 6 piece set that I also ordered. I love the sizes of these containers in both sets -- creates a lot of diveristy in sizes for varying amounts of leftovers, etc. They are also perfect for baking and using in the micro-wave. Good Bye plastic!!!
Excellent food storage (2008-10-03) I've been using strictly Pyrex for my food storage for many months now. I bring my lunches to work so I love that I can heat up the Pyrex in the microwave and then it cleans up easily. This last purchase was for a friend who I think will appreciate it too.
EXPLOSIONS!!! (2008-09-28) I like the idea of these things, and they are definitely good for storage, but yesterday I spent two hours making the best enchiladas EVER and the casserole-sized piece literally exploded in my friend's oven. The magnitude of the event compels me to give a 1-star review.
STILL THE BEST SET FOR YOUR MONEY WORTH (2008-09-26) I have been using my first set for the past 2 months and still looking forward to be with for a while. I like them better than plastic that absorbed the odor and color. The glass even seals out the freshness of my food stored in the refrigierator for 5 days. When your on the go and need to store some leftover food for next meal this is a must.I have purchased another 2 more sets for back up. Amazon offers a free unbeatable quick shipping.I'm on my 6 years of patronage and Never had a single issue with all my purchase from tools to glass containers. With shipping delivery averaging within two to three business days.
Glass is always safer to store food in (2008-09-20) Yes, I know Pyrex can shatter and burst. But many others, including me, have never had any problems with Pyrex. I just make sure not to subject it to extreme temperatures, and from cold to very hot, or very cold to very hot, etc. Glass is the best thing you can store your food in, if you don't want to worry about PVC from Cling wrap, or BPA, along with other chemicals leeching from plastics into your food. I don't really use these containers to bake in, but I do use them to freeze food, and primarily refrigerate food.
